Notable Facts: The first chapter organized under the Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution (CTDAR). One chapter was formed before the CTDAR was organized.

Anne Belle Rogers Minor, the 11th President General of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) was a member of this chapter. She was never State Regent. Mrs. Minor developed the DAR Manual for Citizenship that was handed out at Ellis Island. A manual is still available at the NSDAR site. Mrs. Minor was also a painter, property owner, business owner and accomplished more.
